My neighbour installed an elaborate deck last summer and had nothing but good things to say about the company they used, Paradise Decks. So when I spotted one of their crew members on our street one day, I approached him to inquire about getting a quote to replace our old, falling apart, too-small deck. The young man was so polite, and helpful, I was immediately impressed. He clearly liked working for this company.
I was put in touch with the owner, Adrian, who was super responsive and efficient in getting us a design. He gave us several options for many of the elements which put us in control of the amount we wanted to spend. It was a two story design and we chose to waterproof it so we could create a seating area underneath. We finished the ceiling in cedar which was a little pricey but so worth it…it’s beautiful! The railing is glass and looks great. Unfortunately one of the pieces of glass was delivered with a small chip in it but Adrian’s team ordered a new one and it has now been replaced. Every project has it’s little issues, but the key is how the team deals with them, and in our experience Paradise Decks is top notch.
The install team, led by Patrick, was excellent. It was a pleasure to have them on our property.

We had a very ratty looking small space with 2 sheds adjacent to a very muddy side walkway that needed the help of a designer to make it a beautiful space tying in the out building structures. As a homeowner, one of the hardest things to do is to find a contractor you can trust. Five years ago, my husband and I were looking to rebuild an aging deck. He puts the customer first. He does not hesitate to address any concerns, and if anyone makes a mistake, they fix it. When a project starts, you are the priority. Someone will be there—every day—no lengthy delays.

We are very pleased with Paradise Decks. Both our backyard and interior remodels went quickly and with finesse. From the very beginning, starting with the design of our stone deck, landscaping and composite deck, we knew that Adrian and his company stood apart from others we interviewed and met. The design was stunning and so creative.

Our home was new (only 3 years old) and the grading was very extreme, but it offered us a great walk out basement. The challenge started with the steps that would be required from the side of the home, because of the steep grading. My wife and I also wanted everything completed by the end of August for a significant family event. Finally, we required a permit because of the design of the deck which was so unique.

The day finally came to start the work and we met Mark and his team, who were going to build the stone steps along the house, the stone deck on the ground level and the landscaping. He and his team were incredible, they cleaned up after themselves everyday, the work was impeccable and stunning.

We now move on to the construction of the composite deck with it's beautiful stairs, glass railings and the under roof deck ceiling that keeps the area dry. Again, the team was professional, the work detailed to the most finite points, and they were clean. When the work was finished we couldn't have been happier they not only met our expectations, but exceeded them.

The day of the wedding (our big event) came and everyone commented on how beautiful our backyard was and all we could do was smile and say thank you.

So to Adrian, Mark and your teams, Susan and I say "thank you" for making our home special. We will cherish and enjoy our backyard for years to come.

We contacted Adrian after viewing one of his project videos on the internet. We had previously contacted some other outdoor project companies, but they tended to be quite limited in their scope. That is, one would do decks, but not stonework. Another would do landscaping, but not decks or stonework. Paradise Decks was the first company we talked to that was able to design an entire, cohesive backyard space - deck, patio stonework, outdoor kitchen construction, electrical, landscaping / gardening - you name it. And the key aspect for us was Design. Our project was Adrian's vision, and we could not be happier with every aspect of it. Everything from the layout of the deck, counters, stonework, patio, gardens - right down to the lighting - is essentially the first design that Adrian proposed to us. He has a tremendous vision and keen design eye!

The crew was prompt, tidy, and polite. The workmanship is impeccable. Adrian was always available to discuss aspects of the project as it proceeded - communication was excellent and on par with other superior contractors we have dealt with for other projects.

As stated above - we could not be happier with the final outcome. We feel like we've gained an entire new living space, and with the provision of heaters in the project, we get a surprising amount of use in the shoulder seasons. Now that the summer has come, we have dropped the retractable screens and have refuge from the bugs! We love spending time and entertaining in the space at all hours! I suppose the best conclusion to this review is that we would 100% engage Adrian and Paradise Decks again.

In October 2019, we had Adrian and his team at Paradise Decks do a complete upgrade of our hardscape and softscape in our front and back yard. We could not have been happier with the result. The crew came in and completed the entire job in 10 days and created an outdoor living space that was spectacular. I am an engineer by trade and am very picky on the workmanship. I can tell you that the quality of the work was superior. I have attached current pictures of our front and back yard that Paradise did for us 5 years ago. Even after 5 years of constant use, the hardscaping and softscaping is still like brand new. If anything, the softscaping has now filled in and even looks better. I would highly recommend Paradise Decks.
